About Lego Robotics

In the fall of 2009, Lego Robotics was started at the Education Center of Rising Sun.

 

Robotic Camp: The Education Center of Rising Sun hosts Lego Robotic Camp for 8-14 yr olds each summer.  There is a beginners camp for 2 1/2 days for students who have never worked with the Ev3 Lego Robotics.  This camp teaches students how to build and program their EV3 robot.  The advanced camp is 2 days in length and designed for those who have programming knowledge.  Students are allowed to build any robot they select and program it.  Both camps end with presentation to family and friends.

Lego NXT Robotics is a system used to design, build and program robots from scratch. Students acquire skills in engineering, computer science, and physics. They also learn valuable leadership and project management skills that will help them throughout their lives.
